Description

A delightful dish featuring tender ravioli filled with marinated mozzarella and paired with blistered cherry tomatoes and fresh basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package of Trader Joe’s Caprese Ravioli
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 6 oz marinated mozzarella balls
  • Balsamic glaze, to taste
  • Fresh basil ribbons, to taste


Instructions

  1. Prepare the caprese ravioli according to the package instructions.
  2. Add the ravioli to a pot of generously salted boiling water until al dente.
  3. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Toss in the halved cherry tomatoes and let them blister and caramelize.
  5. Introduce the cooked ravioli to the skillet, along with the marinated mozzarella balls.
  6. Cover the skillet and heat through for a few minutes.
  7. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top and add fresh basil ribbons before serving.

Notes

Experiment with seasonal ingredients or add a protein for a heartier meal. Red pepper flakes or garlic can add an extra layer of flavor.
