Description

A delightful dish of cod fillets cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, infused with fresh lemon for a perfect blend of flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and let it melt until bubbling.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until golden and fragrant.
  3. Pat the cod fillets dry and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Place the seasoned fillets in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and flaky.
  5. Flip the cod gently and cook until no longer translucent, then squeeze lemon juice over the top.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

For variations, try using lime or orange juice, add fresh herbs, or serve with sautéed spinach or roasted asparagus.
