Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Gather your ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined, without overmixing.
- Form half of the mixture into an elongated loaf shape in a baking dish.
- Create a well in the center and add mozzarella cheese.
- Encapsulate the cheese with the remainder of the meat mixture.
- Spread marinara sauce over the top and optionally sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Allow to cool for a few moments before slicing.
