- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Sear the steak in a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat, seasoning with salt and pepper, for about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and let rest before slicing.
- Toss in the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then add the Parmesan cheese and whisk until melted.
- Combine the pasta with the sauce in the skillet, tossing to coat. Serve topped with sliced steak and fresh parsley.
