Scale
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup cooked cranberries (fresh or dried)
  • 1/4 cup sage (fresh or dried)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine bread crumbs, cooked cranberries, sage, onion, and garlic.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together vegetable broth and melted butter. Pour this mixture over the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Fold everything together until well combined and moist. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Form the mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, turning halfway through for even browning, until golden brown and crisp outside.
  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving warm, optionally with a drizzle of gravy.
