Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the egg noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the chopped onion until translucent, then add the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Season the beef with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream and cream of mushroom soup. Mix well and season if needed.
  6. In a greased baking dish, layer half the cooked egg noodles, half the beef mixture, and half the sour cream mixture. Repeat the layers.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
