- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the egg noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté the chopped onion until translucent, then add the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Season the beef with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream and cream of mushroom soup. Mix well and season if needed.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half the cooked egg noodles, half the beef mixture, and half the sour cream mixture. Repeat the layers.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly.
- Allow to cool before serving.
