Description
This no-bake rice krispie treat ice cream sandwich is a sweet, chewy, and creamy dessert perfect for summer fun. Easy to prep, freezer-friendly, and totally customizable.
Ingredients
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1.5 quarts ice cream (any flavor)
Optional toppings: mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, peanut butter
Instructions
1. Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
2. Melt butter over low heat, add marshmallows and stir until smooth.
3. Stir in cereal and mix until coated.
4. Press half the mixture into the pan and freeze 10 minutes.
5. Spread softened ice cream evenly over the layer.
6. Top with remaining cereal mixture and press gently.
7. Freeze at least 2 hours, then slice and serve.
Notes
Use wax paper or buttered hands for easy pressing.
Try cocoa cereal or fruit-flavored cereal for a twist.
For cleaner cuts, warm the knife under hot water before slicing.
