Description
This garlic chicken rice cooker recipe is a cozy one-pot meal that practically cooks itself. It’s full of flavor, packed with protein and veggies, and ready with just 5 minutes of prep.
Ingredients
1 cup jasmine rice
1 ½ cups chicken broth
2 boneless chicken thighs, cut into chunks
1 cup frozen peas
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Add rice, broth, and garlic to the rice cooker pot.
2. Place chicken pieces on top of the rice.
3. Sprinkle in peas, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
4. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Stir gently to combine.
6. Close the lid and press ‘Cook.’
7. Let the rice cooker complete its cycle.
8. Fluff gently and serve warm.
Notes
You can substitute chicken thighs with breast, or use tofu for a vegetarian version.
