This ribeye steak slow cook recipe delivers juicy, tender beef with bold flavor. Perfect for busy nights or cozy weekends.
Ingredients
2 ribeye steaks (1–1.5 inch thick)
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, sliced
1/2 cup beef broth
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh thyme (optional)
Instructions
1. Season ribeye steaks generously with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
2. Place sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
3. Add the steaks on top, then pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
4. Drizzle with olive oil and top with thyme.
5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
6. Optional: Sear steaks before placing them in the slow cooker for extra flavor.
7. Serve hot with mashed potatoes or vegetables, spooning sauce over top.
Notes
Use bone-in ribeye for added flavor.
Avoid lifting the lid during cooking to maintain even temperature.
