Description

Elegant and simple mozzarella bites wrapped in prosciutto, baked to crispy perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 package prosciutto
  • 1 package mozzarella balls (about 12 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay the prosciutto slices flat, then wrap each mozzarella ball with a slice of prosciutto.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and mix in oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Brush the seasoned oil over each prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella bite.
  5. Arrange the bites on the baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until crispy.
  6. Let cool slightly and top with chopped basil if desired before serving.
