Description

A delightful dessert that combines rich cheesecake and luscious pecan pie in a beautiful trifle presentation.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup pecan pie filling
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 6 cups brownie or cake cubes
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. In a trifle bowl, layer brownie or cake cubes at the bottom.
  5. Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture over the cake layer.
  6. Drizzle half of the pecan pie filling over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Repeat the layers with remaining cake cubes, cream cheese mixture, and pecan pie filling.
  8. Top with chopped pecans, drizzle with caramel sauce, and garnish with chocolate shavings.
  9. Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.

Notes

Refrigerating the trifle allows the flavors to meld beautifully. You can customize with seasonal flavors or different nuts.
