Description

Savory pitas filled with spiced ground beef or lamb, grilled to crispy perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Cut each pita bread in half to create pockets.
  4. Stuff each pita half generously with the meat mixture.
  5. Brush the stuffed pitas with olive oil on both sides.
  6. Grill or bake for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
