- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- Olive oil for brushing
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Cut each pita bread in half to create pockets.
- Stuff each pita half generously with the meat mixture.
- Brush the stuffed pitas with olive oil on both sides.
- Grill or bake for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
