Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. If using fresh potatoes, peel and chop them, then boil until fork-tender. Drain and mash with butter and cream.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mashed potatoes and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Add eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Scoop golf ball-sized portions and arrange on a baking tray.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or fry until golden brown.
