- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings
Instructions
- Warm the skillet and add olive oil. Slice the onion and cook until caramelized (about 15 minutes).
- In another skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Set aside.
- Form ground beef into four patties and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, adding cheese in the last minute.
- Toast the hamburger buns.
- Assemble burgers: place patty with cheese on bun, add bacon, caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomato.
- Serve and enjoy!
