- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup nut butter (almond or peanut butter)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts)
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (raisins or cranberries)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped nuts, and dried fruit.
- In a saucepan over low heat, mix nut butter, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the nut butter mixture over the oat mixture and stir until fully combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, pressing down firmly to create an even layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Allow to cool completely before lifting out and slicing into bars.
