Description
Delicious and comforting ground beef Philly cheesesteaks filled with caramelized onions and melted provolone cheese, served on toasted hoagie rolls.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup provolone cheese or Cheez Whiz
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until golden and caramelized (5-7 minutes).
- Crumble in the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Place cheese on top of the beef mixture and cover to melt.
- Toast hoagie rolls on a grill or in a pan until golden brown.
- Scoop the cheesy beef filling into toasted hoagie rolls and serve warm.
Notes
Feel free to swap provolone cheese with sharp cheddar or gouda for different flavors. Add sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers for extra richness.
