Description
Indulge in a succulent Garlic Butter Steak topped with a rich Parmesan Cream Sauce—a perfect centerpiece for any dinner occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, adding 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the seasoned steaks to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes until a golden crust forms.
- Flip the steaks and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter along with the minced garlic. Cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare. Transfer the steaks to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream, whisking continuously to scrape up the brown bits. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the cream thickens, then add the grated Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Slice the steaks and place them on a serving platter. Drizzle the Parmesan cream sauce over the steaks and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
Consider adding fresh herbs or chipotle powder for a creative twist.
