Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh, diced apples (a mix of sweet and tart varieties)
- 2 cups ripe pears, diced
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 cup fresh cranberries (optional)
- 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- Juice and zest of 1 large orange
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Dice the apples and pears into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Optionally, add pomegranate seeds and fresh cranberries to the bowl.
- In a small bowl, combine the juice and zest of the orange, honey or maple syrup, and cinnamon; whisk until smooth.
