Description

Warm, flaky French Dip Squares filled with savory roast beef and melted Swiss cheese, perfect for gatherings or quick dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 packet Au Jus sauce mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, Au Jus sauce mix, and Worcestershire sauce and bring to a simmer. Set aside.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a baking sheet, pressing seams together.
  4. Layer the sliced roast beef evenly over the dough and sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese on top.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling, press edges to seal, and brush the top with olive oil.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Slice into pieces and serve warm with Au Jus for dipping.

Notes

Try adding fresh herbs or swapping roast beef for sautéed mushrooms for a vegetarian twist.
