Description

Indulge in the comforting flavors of Savory French Dip Sliders, filled with succulent beef, sweet caramelized onions, and gooey Swiss cheese, all housed in warm, buttery rolls.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup au jus for dipping
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half and lay the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the roast beef evenly onto each bottom bun.
  4. Add the caramelized onions on top of the roast beef.
  5. Place a slice of Swiss cheese over each mound of beef and onions.
  6. Brush the tops of the buns with a mixture of melted butter, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm on a platter with au jus for dipping.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding sautéed mushrooms or horseradish to the beef. You can also make a vegetarian version using caramelized portobello mushrooms.
