- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup finely chopped dates or raisins
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or dried fruit
- 1/4 cup chia seeds or flaxseeds
- A pinch of sea salt
- Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and nut butter until smooth.
- Add honey or maple syrup, chopped dates or raisins, and chocolate chips or dried fruit. Mix thoroughly until a cohesive dough forms.
- Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it between your palms to form balls.
- Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with wax paper, spacing them apart.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to allow them to set.
