Description
A rustic dish of sautéed baby bella mushrooms in a buttery, garlicky sauce, perfect as a side or on toast.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb baby bella mushrooms
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms by gently wiping them with a damp paper towel. Trim any long stems as needed.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the cleaned mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 8-10 minutes until tender and caramelized.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Toss gently to combine.
Notes
For seasonal variations, consider adding roasted pumpkin in fall or fresh corn in summer. Adding toasted nuts or red pepper flakes can elevate the dish further.
