- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric

- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, ground coriander, ground turmeric, garam masala, salt, and pepper. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least an hour.
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until softened and golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
- Add the marinated chicken to skillet and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until browned.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes, stir, and bring to a gentle simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add heavy cream or coconut milk, lower the heat, and simmer for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, adjusting seasoning as needed.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
