Description

A cozy and hearty cowboy casserole that combines ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, and crispy tater tots, perfect for family gatherings or busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir until smooth.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the beef mixture at the bottom.
  5. Add the drained corn evenly on top of the beef.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the corn layer.
  7. Arrange frozen tater tots on top of the cheese layer.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until tater tots are golden and crispy.
  9. Let it cool for a few moments before serving.
