Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of sausage meat
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of dried herbs (such as thyme or sage)
  • Optional: 1 onion, finely chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until smooth and thin.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sausage meat with salt, pepper, and dried herbs. Optionally, add the finely chopped onion.
  4. Place a line of sausage mixture along one edge of the pastry and roll it up, sealing the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  6. Place on a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp.
