Ingredients
1 lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
4 pita breads
1 cup tzatziki or hummus
1/2 cup diced cucumber
1/2 cup diced tomato
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
1/4 cup crumbled feta
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, and salt.
2. Add chicken and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
3. Heat a skillet or grill and cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
4. Warm pita breads in the oven or pan.
5. Spread sauce inside pita.
6. Add sliced chicken, cucumber, tomato, onion, and feta.
7. Wrap and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
Swap tzatziki for hummus or garlic yogurt.
Use whole grain pitas for added fiber.
