Ingredients

- 200g pasta (spaghetti, penne, or fettuccine)
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chilli oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnishing)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and a pinch of salt, cooking until caramelized (20-25 minutes).
- Stir in the chilli oil and mix well with the onions.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper, and serve in a bowl topped with grated Parmesan and fresh parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding seasonal vegetables or protein. Substitute ingredients based on dietary preferences.
