Description

A comforting dish combining savory Cajun steak tips with creamy rigatoni and parmesan, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak tips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 12 ounces rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning and cook until browned (3-4 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Whisk in grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Add drained rigatoni and steak tips back into the skillet. Toss to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and serve garnished with additional parmesan and fresh parsley.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes while the cream simmers. You can substitute steak with chicken or shrimp if desired.
