Description

A warm and cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip that’s perfect for sharing during game days or cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 3 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (boiled and shredded)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (cubed)
  • 1 cup ranch dressing (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup hot sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot), plus more as needed
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup green onion (chopped)
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded, divided)
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese (shredded, divided)


Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of water and add the chicken breasts; cover and let poach for about 25 minutes.
  2. As chicken cooks, preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium saucepot, heat cream cheese, ranch dressing, hot sauce, black pepper, and garlic powder over medium-low heat until smooth.
  3. Add shredded chicken, green onion, and one cup each of mozzarella and cheddar to the sauce, mixing well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a prepared 9×9 inch baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and cheddar.
  5. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, then broil for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown on top.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips or veggie sticks.

Notes
