Description

This blueberry rustic crumble recipe with oats is the ultimate cozy dessert. Easy to prepare, packed with juicy blueberries and a golden oat topping.


Ingredients

3 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)

2 tsp lemon juice

2 tbsp cornstarch

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or almond/oat flour)

1/2 cup melted butter (or coconut oil)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Pinch of salt


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking dish.

2. In a bowl, mix blueberries, lemon juice, cornstarch, and sugar.

3. Pour fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish.

4. In another bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and melted butter.

5. Sprinkle oat mixture over the fruit without pressing.

6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until top is golden and fruit is bubbly.

7. Cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or chilled.

Notes

You can use frozen blueberries directly without thawing.

For extra crunch, add chopped nuts to the oat topping.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
