Description

Ingredients

  • 4 large croissants, torn into pieces
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter for greasing the baking dish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  3. Layer pieces of croissants in the greased baking dish.
  4. Dollop cream cheese over the croissants and sprinkle blueberries on top.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant layers.
  6. Let the casserole soak for about 15-20 minutes.
  7. Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set in the middle.
