- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup chopped pistachios
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until fluffy. Then, fold in the blackberries and chopped pistachios.
- Pour the blackberry and pistachio mixture over the crust in the baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is set and slightly golden. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
These bars can be customized with different berries or nuts. Consider adding extracts or spices for added flavor.
